POPPY ROAD (2010) DAG NAB ANTS (2011) SICK DAY (2012) CORN POP (2014) ONE HAND DAN (2015) SCOTCH TALK (running) MUSIC STUDENT 101 (coming soon)
In this Sesame Street parody, a thugged-out gang of muppets demonstrate their influential status by means of rap. Familiar themes such as shameless self promotion, drug references, and threats of physical violence should "dissing" occur, are all present in this satire. A farmer's woes from a tough year. This little creation was spawned from my failed attempts to grow a garden. Surely, pestilence, draught and other various and sundry vermin are to blame...not my lack of gardening skills...that's my story and I'm stickin' by it!! DAG NAB IT!!! The Poppy Road gang discusses the pros and cons of being under the weather. Despite being assaulted by various diseases, viruses and medical conditions, they somehow manage to find a silver lining through truency from school and time off from work. On a routine shopping trip, a young woman finds herself confronted with a man who struggles with the delicate balance between cute and creepy. She turns down his advances hoping that will be the last she sees of him. A man recounts a time when he had a professional career in the entertainment industry. That all changed on the day he lost his best friend and his left hand. In 2010, some friends noticed that whenever the got together, they ended up doubled over laughing. So they set up mics. The result is Scotch Talk. Enjoy. Co-hosts, Jeremy Burns and Matthew Scott Phillips discuss what it's like to be a student in the school of music. Theory, ear training, music history, career direction and overall musicianship are among the many topics covered.
